Student Admission Requirements (KINDERGARTEN to POST HIGH)
New Life Christian Academy accepts students through a team decision model. The team includes school staff and the parents or guardians of the student. Students enter on the basis of their developmental ability to participate in classroom activities. At the time of application, students will be given a level test in the areas of reading/language and mathematics to determine proper placement. Beginning students are placed on their ability to focus and function in a developmentally appropriate classroom, generally at the age of three. New Life Christian Academy is able to serve students up to the age of 21 years.
Transfer students are required to provide transcripts and standardized testing results from their previous school at the time of application during the family interview. Secondary students must provide an essay stating their reasons for their desire to attend. Students who are recipients of the Carson Smith Scholarship must meet all requirements of the scholarship at the time of the family interview and before acceptance.
Parents/guardians are required to fill out two applications outlining their distinct, family philosophies, and indicating their demographic information, their commitment to actively volunteer or become involved in the school, along with their assent to the New Life Christian Academy Statement of Faith.
