Because we believe that we must be "bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5), New Life Christian Academy is committed to providing a godly learning environment, free from distraction, and designed to support student success. It is our appointment to respect and partner with the parents of our students. Therefore, we will enforce the dress code instituted by the family.
We are persuaded that school uniforms are a deterrent to prideful and exclusionary behavior. Therefore, we require uniforms and uniform school colors of clothing worn always. Also, students in uniform look sharp and successful.
School top colors: School bottom colors: Shoes:
- Maroon - Black - Closed-toed, nice shoes
- Navy Blue - Khaki (sneakers are acceptable)
- White - Nice jeans
School T-shirts and Polos will be available to order; please make sure you have at least one if not more.
Girls may wear skirts, long pants, or shorts of acceptable length, and may choose plaids in Maroon and Navy for the bottoms.
Girls from Kingdergarten to 5th grade may choose jumper dresses in Khaki, Navy, Maroon, or Maroon/Navy plaid.
Boys may wear long pants or shorts of acceptable length.
In addition, these general guidelines apply:

While we abhor the idea that clothes "make" the man or woman, we cannot deny that first impressions carry a great deal of weight in your personal future success. Again, we must hold ourselves to a higher standard than the world, because of who our Father is.

- No bare midriffs or low-riding pants.
- No extremely tight, short, or low-cut clothing
- T-shirts with obviously pornographic, violent, vulgar, or occultic symbols and pictures are entirely outlawed.
- Baggy pants and exposed under-clothing is not acceptable.
- Excessive piercings are also unacceptable.
- Extreme or outrageous hair colors or hair-cuts designed to draw attention are not allowed. (This does not include acceptable hair coloring or cutting trends.)
- Make-up is to be conservative and tasteful, as well as not-dramatic in color or line.
- P.E. clothing is to include clean socks, comfortable, black, closed-toed shoes, white T-shirt, black sweat pants, and a personal towel.
- Specialty gear, such as swimwear, or martial arts gear must meet the modesty standards.
